Today I am Presenting The New Update of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) For our Beloved Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670.Galaxy Fit Users Had to wait for log time to Get this update since last Update Was beta 4 and This Update is Beta 7.Since the last Update Release,there were many Bugs like System Instability,Mass Storage Problems,Flickering and Many More, but Developers put their efforts to overcome these problems and fixed bugs.Still They Have not Fixed All The Bugs like Camera (which is more essential), But we can Expect Camera and many other bug fixes in Upcoming Releases. Sources Told that the Camera work will fixed as soon as possible in near release because Camera is working but the screenshots Captured By the Camera are not displayed after the Screenshot is Captured.Since this will Take Some Time,Up til then We will Enjoy This release.So in Further Article we will be Discussing How to Update Samsung Galaxy fit s5670 to Latest Ice cream Sandwich 4.0.4 (CM9) Beta 7.
In Due Course of this article we will see on what are the list of –

  3. Procedure to update Galaxy fit s5670 with ICS 4.0.4 Cyanogen MOD 9 Release.
 Note: Please note that this is Cyanogen Mod 9 Port.It is the unofficial release and still the Official Cyanogen MOD 9 ROM is not yet released (Or will not be release), so ensure that you are flashing at your own risk.

Tip: As ROM is in Beta 7 Stage, There are Some Bugs in this ROM.You should Try this ROM at Your Own Risk.

  • Smoother than Gingerbread

  • Removed UMS app
  • New Adreno 200 libraries for ICS.
  • Fast and Smooth System.
  • Working Live Wallpapers (won’t slowdown your system, like before or on Gingerbread).

  • All Apps with Graphics Problems are Fixed.

Prerequisites:
  • Charge your device to a minimum of 90% as since the procedure is bit lengthy, the phone will consume more battery than the normal usage. Lesser battery will lead to the turning Off of the device in the middle of the firmware update process.
  • Back up all your data which is there in the phone memory, as in an unlikely event if the data gets lost then you can easily restore the backup.
  • Up next is you need to ensure that the USB Debugging is enabled in your phone. The USB Debugging can be enabled from the path of Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging. Apart from this you also need to ensure that your computer has ADMIN privileges and USB Read / Write Access. It’s not recommended to use computers which have limited access.
Tip For The Users Who have Already Installed ICS 4.0.4 Beta 4 Update(Not For All Users):
Just Flash Beta 7 Over Beta 4 Using Clockwork Mod Recovery without Wiping Data.(Or You can wipe Data, If Any Problem Persist).
Procedure to update Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 with ICS 4.0.4(CM9) Beta 7:
For Simplicity We Have Divided This Article in 3 Simple Steps.
Tip For the User Who Are Already On Custom ROM:
Users Who are Already on Custom ROM.They Can Flash this Update Directly Through Clockworkmod Recovery By Wiping Data.

Step 1: Base Firmware Installation:
  • First up you need to update your phone with the 2.3.x version of firmware (And not on Froyo 2.2.x). You need to follow the instructions which are mentioned below in the form of Links. Please note that it’s a base firmware and you need to install it.
Now, once you updated the device.You will need to proceed to install the Clock Work MOD Recovery in your phone which we will see in the next step.
Step 2: Clock Work MOD Installation
  • Now, Switch off Your Fit And Enter into Download Mode By Pressing Power+Menu Button+Volume Down Button Until Downloading Mode Appears.OpenS5670_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe.Place BENI_v1.0.ops on OPS tab.Check the One Package Option.Place beni_cwm-5_ext4_v2.tar on One Package tab.Connect the device to PC which you have put in Downloading Mode.Press Start and wait for flashing process is finished.
After this you will have to proceed to the next step which is mentioned Further
Step 3: Installation of ICS 4.0.4 CM9 Beta 7:
  • First up you need to download Zip file which is mentioned below in your computer
  1. ICS 4.0.4 CM9 Beta 7.zip
  • Now, once you are done with downloading the above file in your computer, you need to now copy the file in your phone and ensure that you are not placing these file deep into the phone. Please note that you should not modify or rename the files which you have downloaded or else there is a high probability that the file would not be supported.
  • After this Enter in Recovery Mode by Holding Power Off + Menu Button Until Recovery Mode Appears.
  • In the recovery mode, you will have to choose “choose zip from SD”. Now, from the list of files and paths you will need to first select the file which is named as “Galaxy-Fit-ICS-CM9-Beta7.zip (or which You Have Copied to SD Earlier)”. Ensure that you select the file properly.
  • Now, as soon as the process is over, Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset And Wipe Cache Partition.After All Done Select “Reboot System Now”.
So, there you go as soon as the phone is rebooted you will see that the firmware is updated with the latest version of Android 4.0(ICS 4.0.4). Let us know in the comments section just in case if you face any issues as we will try our level best to sort out the same

    first , thank you for this amazing rom .. and for all your work ..

    I have installed this V2 rom to my Galaxy fit ..
    the installation went very well , but there's a problem .
    when I am in a phone call , everyone talking to me hear his voice echo over his phone ,
    I tried to change the rom many times , each time I install Android 4 or higher I get this problem ,
    when I install gingerbread android , there's no such problem :/
    actually I wish to have your help , I'm new in installing roms ..
