Replying to a query from a customer about availability for the Lumia 800 and Lumia 900, the the Swisscom_Care Twitter feed revealed that the Lumia 800 will be available from January, followed by the yet-unannounced 900 “at the end of Feb”. Of course, this is by no means confirmation of the handset’s release, and Nokia is yet to comment on the rumours.
If the rumours are to be believed, the Nokia Lumia 900 handset will be the highly-specced sequel to the Lumia 800. On the spec-front, expect to see a 4.3-inch curved AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.4GHz single-core processor and the next-gen iteration of Microsoft’s OS: Tango. We’re also expecting an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and HD video, , 16GB of internal memory, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1800mAh battery.
Expect to hear more about the Lumia 900 at January’s CES.
